Can we be better?
Submitted by MattLutze on August 6, 2008 - 2:33pm.

Last week Tuesday I watched a group of 40 fraternity men and sorority women debate an equal-sized group on the topic of Greek sustainability in today's university culture. I watched forty men and women battle against stereotyping and statistics, and I watched them lose. After expounding on the qualities, benefits and experiences Greek Life has to offer, a randomly-selected panel of judges, both student and faculty, decided that the side arguing against the greater Greek community were victorious.

Why did we lose? How are we no longer relevant? Where did we go wrong, when did we go wrong, and what can we do to return to prominence?
